Como resultado del operativo para inhibir la extracción, el traslado y el comercio de hidrocarburo ilegal en territorio mexiquense, elementos de la Secretaría de Seguridad (SS) localizaron tres vehículos que transportaban siete contenedores aparentemente utilizados para almacenar combustible de dudosa procedencia.
Derivado de los recorridos preventivos en zonas con ductos de Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), Policías Estatales se percataron que en los Ejidos de Atla de este municipio había automotores posiblemente abandonados.
De forma inmediata se acercaron y corroboraron que se trataba de tres unidades marca Ford; uno tipo E-150 Van y una camioneta Ford F-200, ambas sin reporte de robo, y otra F-250, tipo Pickup, con reporte de robo vigente.
Al concluir la inspección, al interior de las camionetas se detectaron siete contenedores con arnés metálico vacíos, todos con capacidad de mil litros, en los que se presume se podría transportar el hidrocarburo sustraído ilegalmente.
Acorde al protocolo, los automotores, así como los contenedores asegurados, fueron trasladados a la agencia del Ministerio Público con sede en Otumba, donde se inició la Carpeta de Investigación correspondiente.
