Cuatro sujetos que iban fuertemente armados, fueron aprehendidos por elementos de la Secretaría de Seguridad (SS), cuando pretendieron darse a la fuga, al observar la presencia policial.
Los hechos ocurrieron sobre la carretera Otumba – Tizayuca, a la altura del kilómetro 9+500, en el Poblado de Santo Domingo Aztacameca, cuando los inculpados, al observar el operativo de Coordinación Territorial para la Construcción de la Paz, dentro de la Región 23, de forma intempestiva cambiaron su rumbo para evitar una revisión.
Metros más adelante y tras una breve persecución, se detuvo a Damián ’N’, de 31 años; Manuel ’N’, de 36; Apolinar ’N’, de 51 y Antonio ’N’ de 34 años de edad, quienes viajaban a bordo de un vehículo marca Dodge tipo Neón, color gris.
Al practicar una revisión de rutina, se localizó en la cajuela del automotor, una escopeta marca Halcón, calibre 20 con 30 cartuchos útiles; una pistola marca Colt MK4, calibre 45, con dos cargadores y 12 cartuchos útiles; otra escopeta Harrington & Richards, calibre 410, con 25 cartuchos útiles y otra más de la marca Stevens Gauge, calibre 20 con 26 cartuchos útiles.
Luego de no poder acreditar la legal posesión del arsenal, los sujetos fueron puestos a disposición de la autoridad ministerial, donde se determinará su situación jurídica, por el delito de posesión de arma prohibida.
