Tras inundaciones, anuncian arresto por tirar basura en calles de Ecatepec

Esta semana el presidente municipal de Ecatepec Fernando Vilchis Contreras propondrá reformas al Bando Municipal para que tirar basura en la vía pública sea penalizado con arresto inconmutable.

Actualmente, conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol ya se penaliza con una sanción de 12 a 24 horas de arresto sin derecho a multa.

Esto, luego de las severas inundaciones registradas en colonias de este municipio, las cuales fueron ocasionadas en gran medida por la acumulación de desperdicios en coladeras, tuberías y cárcamos.

El edil explicó que durante los trabajos de limpieza posteriores a la situación de emergencia, se han retirado más de 40 toneladas de desechos sólidos de las rejillas de la red de drenaje.

Indicó que esta semana convocará a una sesión extraordinaria de cabildo, en la que propondrá que depositar desperdicios en la vía pública se castigue de 12 a 24 horas de arresto inconmutable.
Asimismo, anunció que solicitará un presupuesto extraordinario para apoyar a los propietarios de 950 viviendas que sufrieron afectaciones durante la tromba del pasado martes.

Por otro lado, cientos de trabajadores municipales de Ecatepec se sumaron al esfuerzo de cientos de pobladores para limpiar calles y viviendas de colonias afectadas por las lluvias que cayeron en la localidad los días 24 y 25 de septiembre, con saldo de 950 viviendas con agua en su interior, de 40 comunidades.

Luego de ver la actitud solidaria del presidente municipal de Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis Contreras, quien sumó esfuerzos en favor de los damnificados por las lluvias, más de un centenar de trabajadores de su administración organizaron cuadrillas de apoyo para unirse a la causa.

En punto de las 7:00 horas de hoy el edil y su esposa Esmeralda Vallejo Martínez, presidenta del DIF municipal, escucharon la logística planificada por la Dirección de Protección Civil para revertir el daño en las 950 viviendas de las 40 colonias que resultaron afectadas.

Vilchis Contreras aseguró que una vez que las máquinas ya cumplieron con parte de su labor, ahora es momento de sumar manos que trabajen y ayuden en la limpieza de los hogares inundados.

Agregó que las familias afectadas necesitan sentir ese apoyo solidario para que sepan que no están solos y siempre hay una nueva oportunidad para contrarrestar los malos momentos.

En su arribo al Centro de Rehabilitación Integral (CRIS), Vilchis agradeció la solidaridad de quienes forman parte de su administración, al tiempo que los conminó a no bajar los brazos hasta que no quede huella de los daños.

Algunos vecinos que se congregaron durante la noche en el Cris, en donde recibieron cobijas y alimentos, partieron esta mañana con las cuadrillas de ayuda para continuar con los trabajos de limpieza en sus viviendas.

La presidenta del DIF se integró al equipo asignado al punto más crítico de San Agustín, con el fin de finalizar la coordinación en el desazolve y proceder a tomar escobas y trapos para limpiar.
