Agrónomas Democráticas y Profesionistas del Campo buscan incidir en la participación de las mujeres en la vida pública del país.

Para lograrlo, refirieron que se requiere la participación de las mujeres, quienes desempeñan un papel articulador dentro de las familias.

Además, de jugar un papel fundamental en la economía rural, «son la columna vertebral específicamente en los países en desarrollo, ya que representan casi la mitad de los agricultores del mundo», indicó Mirta Mondragón de Agrónomas Democráticas.

También destacó que en las últimas décadas las mujeres han ampliado su participación en la agricultura, así como ser las proveedoras de alimentos, nutrición, cuidados, salud y educación.

Recalcó que aún cuando se conocen las aportaciones de las mujeres en el campo, existe una brecha de género que complica oportunidades de recursos como la tierra, créditos, insumos, capacitación y servicios .

Por lo que es importante conocer cuál será el papel que tendrán las mujeres en la transformación del campo mexicano.

De este modo, Agrónomas y Profesionistas del Campo buscan el impulso de la participación de las mujeres.

Por su parte, Araceli Guzmán indicó que «ncesitamos que dentro de la agrupación de Ingenieros Agrónomos Democráticos se valore e impulse la participación de las mujeres».

Yaque el trabajo de las mujeres implica una doble jornada, en las diversas tareas y proyectos productivos donde están inmersas miles de mujeres mexicanas, informó Araceli Guzmán.

Por lo que Agrónomas Democráticas del Estado de México, estarán trabajando en zona oriente.

» Necesitamos un desarrollo económico por lo que generaremos empleo e ingresos sobre todo a las mujeres » dijo Araceli Guzmán.

Además, Araceli Guzman refirió que buscarán que se creen fuentes de trabajo, hospitales de especialidad, universidades de alta calidad, ya que el Oriente mexiquense ha estado rezagado durante muchos años en servicios educativos como de salud.

Recalcó que Agrónomas democráticas han estado trabajado con los productores del campo sin intervención del Gobierno, la producción ha mejorado con el único apoyo de la Universidad de Chapingo con máquinaria e investigaciones.

«Hemos logrado que las parcelas de los agricultores produzcan de 1.8 a 4.8 toneladas por hectárea, proyecto que se ha tebajado por etapadas desde hace tres años», refirió Araceli Guzmán.

De este modo buscarán impulsar más proyectos en estas áreas junto con los productores.

«Impulsaremos más proyectos con los productores, con apoyo del Gobierno o no seguiremos impulsando toda esta productividad como lo hemos hecho durante muchos años «,finalizó Araceli Guzmán.
