Museo Eremitorio Fray Domingo de Betanzos ofrece recorridos nocturnos en Tepetlaoxtoc

El Museo Eremitorio Fray Domingo de Betanzos ofrece a sus visitantes recorridos nocturnos, una vez al mes, para dar a conocer parte la historia de Tepetlaoxtoc.

Ubicado en el centro del municipio de Tepetlaoxtoc, se erige un místico lugar de oración y meditación, construido en 1527 por Fray Domingo de Betanzos.

El fraile dominico, Fray Domingo de Betanzos tuvo presencia en la evangelización no sólo de Tepetlaoxtoc, sino de la Ciudad de México, Oaxaca, Guatemala y su influencia llegó incluso a las tierras asiáticas de las Islas Filipinas.

Durante poco más de una hora, el espectador se transportará a la vida cotidiana del siglo XVI, época de la santa inquisición y evangelización en Tepetlaoxtoc; acompañado de frailes dominicos y franciscanos como Fray Domingo de Betanzos y Fray Juan de Zumárraga, el visitante recorrerá el Eremitorio entre historias y leyendas de la época.

Además, conocerán el cementerio y mausoleos de cantera del siglo XIX en el que personajes relevantes del municipio como Victoriano Castro y Dolores González viuda de Beltrán, relatarán sus vidas a través de leyendas.

El recorrido nocturno se realiza por parte de la empresa Turismo Alternativo y Cultural S.A. de C.V. (TAC), cuya actividad es desarrollada por los historiadores Lorena Rivero y Arturo Campos, con apoyo de la Directora de Turismo, Carina Velásques Velásques para la apertura del espacio en el Museo Eremitorio Fray Domingo de Betanzos.

En Tepetlaoxtoc se han hecho esfuerzos para fortalecer la identidad cultural de la población a través de experiencias significativas que promueven la difusión y conservación del patrimonio cultural a través de actividades turísticas culturales.

Desde hace poco más de cuatro años, surgió la iniciativa para dar a conocer la historia de Tepetlaoxtoc a través de recorridos nocturnos dramatizados.

Carina Velázquez Velázquez , mencionó que el recorrido nocturno es un producto consolidado que debe conocer la población de Tepetlaoxtoc y sus visitantes.

Finalmente, comentó que es una actividad cultural dirigida a todo público y se lleva a cabo cada tercer sábado de mes en dos horarios, 8:00 y 10:00 pm, tiene un costo de $55.00 por persona, se realizan descuentos a personas adultas mayores con credencial INAPAM y a niños de 3 a 12 años. Es indispensable hacer reservación o adquirir los boletos con anticipación ya que el cupo es para máximo 25 personas por función, señaló.
